WORK – LIFE EXPERIENCE

Born into a family of photographers, I grew up capturing moments at public events and receptions—an experience that sparked my appreciation for the interplay of perspective, creativity, and beauty.
This foundation fueled my passion for designing environments that balance functionality and aesthetics, while also helping me develop strong communication skills in English and some knowledge of German.

I completed high school with a specialization in technical drawing and began my Bachelor’s studies in Architecture at IUAV University of Venice.

My architectural journey began as a trainee at the City Hall of Abano Terme, where I gained my first hands-on experience with construction regulations and standards while pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Sciences. This experience deepened my understanding of compliance and its influence on design.

During my Master’s Degree in Architecture and Innovation at IUAV, I broadened my horizons through an Erasmus+ program with B612 Associates in Belgium. There, I worked on European architecture competitions and developed expertise in social housing and urban regeneration projects in Brussels’ disadvantaged suburbs.

I further diversified my experience at DBA Spa, where I managed permits, contracts, and logistics for telecommunications infrastructure projects. This role gave me valuable skills in GIS and project management, while continuing to strengthen my technical and academic foundation.

To stay competitive in an evolving industry, I earned a BIM Manager Certification in Venice, specializing in Building Information Modelling for existing structures—particularly for maintenance planning to optimize time and cost.
My career spans a variety of roles in international architecture and engineering firms, both in Italy and Belgium.

I have contributed to projects ranging from historic building restoration and creating modular 3D BIM models for structural and architectural elements, to confidential military facilities and the expansion of Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport.
Each project required strict adherence to local and international standards and regulations.

In Belgium, while working at Jasper-Eyers Architects, I played a key role in the 80,000 m² renovation of Gare du Midi in Brussels. I was responsible for model checks, coordination, and regulatory compliance, helping to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

As a BIM Expert at Chapman Taylor, I have overseen large-scale projects, including the development of 2,500 apartments across 21 towers in Islamabad and a 25-acre mixed-use complex featuring a mosque.

Currently, I am working as a BIM Manager on several projects with Studio Ensemble in Brussels and with ESA+, where I am implementing BIM workflows across teams.
In addition, I am engaged in heritage building projects in Italy, using point cloud data for accurate modeling—allowing me to remain at the forefront of emerging tools and techniques in architecture.

MY GOAL – ENRICO AN INTEROPERABILITY ARCHITECT

My professional goal is to grow as an architect and project leader, with a strong focus on BIM management and construction interoperability to deliver efficient, high-quality projects.

I am deeply committed to advancing architectural practices and promoting sustainability in the industry—particularly through circular design and energy-efficient strategies.

Proactive and innovative, I continuously adopt new methodologies to tackle environmental and societal challenges, and I strive to work in ambitious, forward-thinking environments.

I actively seek collaboration with organizations that value adaptability and growth, reflecting my commitment to making a meaningful impact while continuously evolving both personally and professionally.
